Oppsss…I did it again!! I’ve been such procrastinator or I would rather say LAZY? :p

My very last post was in April and now it’s December. A lot of things happened to me for the past 8 months with a fair share of good and bad things. As quoted by Ralph Waldo Emerson - All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make, the better you are...

Lastly, I visited the Semmengoh Wildlife Centre (Orang Utan Rehabilitation)

This is Ritchie the new King of the forest. He normally show up during the official feeding time that also he don't turn up all the time. So it's all depends on your luck whether he will turn up.

I was unlucky coz didn't get to see him. Heard some stories about him from the staff there. Was told that the moment Ritchie turn up, all the female orang utan will run away to avoid him coz Ritchie can simply grab any of the female and shag them there and then to show his power as the king of the forest. I'd love to see that one day!

Last but not least! Am single and available again! The relationship was bad for me and he was bad for me too. It took me a long time to finally accept the reality and to make the final call. It was my fault for letting it to drag for so long, I could have ended this much earlier but I just didn’t want to face the reality and been avoiding thinking that things will be better and he will change for me. So yeah…that’s the end of the story for the 1.5 years r’ship and I need to be myself again, the happy and outgoing Rachie Tan.

French Nails...

Am trying to try something on my own at home - French Nails!! Done that like twice at the nails parlor. I hardly visit nails parlor outside as I thought it is rather costly and it is not hard to do myself. So far I have only visited nails parlor for less than 5 times in a year since 3 years back. It’s just that out of the 3 times that I visited the parlor last year, he asked me twice why not French Manicure.

So I decided to try it out at home myself today since I already bought the white colour paste shade back few months.

More than 6 months...

It has been 6 months and 18 days since I last blog. I’ve been procrastinating to update my blog for the longest time till today I finally decided to login and update my post.

I just got back from catching up with Kay and it has been 2 years plus since we last meet up for a drink. We have only been chatting on MSN occasionally. I must say Kay had just enlightened me with his experiences, truly appreciate him sharing his experiences with me. Kay, if you are reading this, you made me feel like blogging today and thanks for that :)

6 months down the road, a lot of things happened in my life. Some changes for good and some not so. I realized I really should take things easy in my life. I have not really been treating myself right by setting all the high expectation.

Along these 6 months, I am glad that I’ve my family, baby and some friends being there for me whenever I needed you guys the most. I may have made new friends or got closer with some friend that I never thought we can be as close as of now (you know who you are) and I also lost some friends along the road.

It’s nothing new for me to have lost some friends along the way but not someone that I used to admired and adore for her intellectual, manners and her approaches towards everyone. I must say this is really sad for me and I know I have to accept that this person that I used to admire no longer the same person I used to know. Life goes on…I shall move on and should not dwell on it anymore just as Kay said.

Last month (1^st of March ’10) was my beloved dad’s 3^rd year anniversary. I have a dedicated post for him last year but not this year coz I am grown up now. I no longer miss my dad as much as I do like before. I still miss him that’s for sure, it’s just that I have finally accepted his death and so do my family members.

I supposed he no longer worried so much about me as well coz he no longer visiting me in my dream land. I pray his altar every morning before I go to work and there are times when I needed someone to be there for me I will tell him please drop by my dream daddy. Normally I will ended up getting upset coz he didn’t appear but on the other hand he must have did it on purpose coz he knows I need to handle things on my own now coz I am his grown up daughter now. As I am typing this, I can feel the tears flowing down my cheeks. At times I will still blame myself for not able to tell him how much I love him when he’s around.

I always think and ask myself why do people take me for granted? But when I flash back, a lot of times I take my family for granted too without me realizing it and I supposed it’s karma that my friends is now taking me for granted so that I will realized and learn from there.

Alright that’s all for now, need to wash off the mask on my face with the marks of my tears flowing from my eyes down to my jaw. Ewwww! I look like a crying ghost! :p

I’m kinda in dreadful mood now, it’s sat and I’m at home alone :( So I decided to update my blog with my handicapped left arm, I am typing with both hand but had to stop every sec to rest my left arm.

I was informed by Micky that there is this ‘Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness’ event going on today at Prima Nora Medical Centre at TTDI Plaza and on the same day GSK (Glaxo Smith Kline) is subsidizing a certain amount for the Cervical Vaccine Jab (HPV Vaccination)

I was told the normal price for the full jab of 3 dos will cost about RM720 or higher and most of the gyne clinic charge RM1k and above. This time round it only cost RM576 for total 3 jabs, that’s freaking cheap isn’t it?

So when we reached there, we found out they have other promotions as well and I took up Pap Smear test which cost only RM50 plus Ultra Sound Breast Check Up cost RM90.

My mum took the HVP Vaccination plus Pap Smear and Mammogram which also cost RM90, total up RM716 for each of us.

Although it’s cheap but this is such a big amount for me to pick up out of sudden and I am sponsoring some of my mum’s cost too, thank god both my bros agreed to sponsor some for my mum too :)

Back to my left arm, it hurts so much that I can’t more my arm forward at shoulder level therefore I can’t take off my top and my bra! I had to ask my mum to help me to do so. I feel so useless and handicapped and this really affects my mood badly. I was hoping my baby would be around to accompany me but he had to entertain client after a very last minutes phone call from the partner.

I showed my baby where the shot was give and he said it was definitely given “too high” and I totally agree with him. My mum’s arm painful too but not as bad as I do and so I was so curious and I did some research. Apparently I am not the bizarre one, some other people suffering the same situation like I do too!

According to all the forum that I read, some people had this hurtful arm for up to a week! Damn this is too long! I hope I don’t have to suffer for so long and I've 2 more jab to go. 2nd jab one month later and 3rd jab 6 months later after 2nd jab.

I am really hell moody now that I actually vent out my anger to my friend over msn. I am so sorry Eden boy :(

Uhhh...it’s been 2 mths now since I last updated my blog. Sorry for being a bad girl! Sorry for those who has been still checking my blog and waiting for new post. I haven’t been blogging for so long as I was busy, not entirely busy with work but also with other stuff like:

1) Busy spending time with my baby

2) Busy with DVD marathon – currently addicted to Ugly Betty, Prison Break and Sex & the City

3) Busy running around to get the best price for my car sell-in value, getting new car plate for new car, canceling & getting new car insurances and etc etc

4) Busy salsa-ing and attending some workshop with baby

5) Busy wrapping up my last project – Guinness G250th Arthur’s Day in my previous company

6) Busy packing up my 4 years of things/ rubbish in my previous company

7) Busy spending 1 week holiday at Pattaya and Bangkok with baby before starting new job, shop till i drop and I am officially broke now :((

8) Busy wrapping up, collecting evidence on the biatch maid of less than 2 mths run away with our family valuables. Grrrrrr!!

Now, busy updating my blog with all the things happening above.

Oh yeah, I’ve resigned from the previous company and today is my very first day at this new place here. My boss not around so I’ve nothing to do here hence decided to update my blog.

This new place here..ughhhhh, parking hell EXPENSIVE and have to walk quite a distance!! Damn man! Really wtf! Coming to work jam somemore, sigh!

A multitasking week, fitting myself into 3 diff roles

I had the most horrible week that I just realized I am multitasking by fitting myself conducting 3 different roles.

Firstly, would like to apologize to sweetie Samantha as I have promised you twice that I will update my post soon but god knows my elder bro got admitted to the hospital on Tuesday night. He is still in the hospital and still unsure when he can discharge till his condition is stable and allow him to go home and rest. Just on Monday only we celebrated his birthday, speaking of which I will blog about it later.

Anyway, his doctor has confirmed my bro is suffering from a condition called Vestibular Neuronitis and apparently he is the fourth patient from Pantai Hospital, Bangsar suffering with this sickness. This is a sickness whereby the patient got infected with some virus through air borne by a third party who is down with flu and cough. The virus enters his body through his ears and attacks his vertigo system. The symptoms of this sickness include dizziness and vomiting which can last for min. 4 days to 7 days or max. up to 4 weeks!

Guess what there is to special treatment for this sickness. I got my cousin brother who is a doc too to speak to my bro current doc which currently attending to him that his sickness is no cure. There is nothing much can be done and the sickness will heal by itself. Gosh, what a miracle!

My bro can’t open his eyes, the moment he open his eyes everything he sees is spinning and this gonna cause him vomit. He can’t eat either way as he will throw up everything, been 3 days now he has not been eating anything and currently he’s on drip.

My mum, myself and his gf had been running around taking shift to take care of him. Best part is he gets mad very easily. Just today only (late evening) he threw tantrum and act up like a kid (merajuk) as the vomiting medicine that doc prescribe to him was not suitable for him and he was getting the side effect. His neck swells and kept on pushing it to the right side automatically, he tried to fight back but to no avail. His gf got panic and quickly ran to me when I was at the counter getting the nurse to call the doc to see him immediately.

Doc then put him another medicine to relax his muscles and body which essentially will make him sleep. After about 5 mins, we heard him snoring. Phew! What an experience! When doc was busy doing his work my bro non stop mumblings he is in pain and ‘merajuk’. Myself and his gf have to calm him down and making sure he is relax before injection.

I am hell exhausted running around managing my roles to be there for my mum making sure she eats and she get enough rest and also my role as his best sister taking care of him. Besides, I’ve to juggle around with my work. I’ve been having split headache for days now. I supposed I didn’t get enough rest or too stressful.

I hope my bro get better soon and this won’t drag for a month.

Iron/ Stiff Shoulder

Remember my post earlier about being down with on and off fever which resulted in 3 bed-ridden days? So this is the follow up post. Just 2 days ago on Tuesday, I was on medical leave due to my iron or stiff shoulder on the left acting up again.

I woke up at about 9am at which time I was already late for work. I couldn't seem to pull myself up as I could feel the stiffness on my left shoulder. Finally when I managed to sit up on my bed I kinda feel my left upper arm was numb, so I waited for a while thinking that it could be due to my wrong sleeping position. After about 5 mins, I realized shit…this is no freaking joke; this is not about the wrong sleeping position anymore.

The numbness got to me and then I used my right hand to massage my left shoulder. I didn’t even put any pressure on it and I could feel my left shoulder was damn painful with just a slight touch. That was when I knew damn, I need to sleep back and rest my body before I see doc later. Immediately txt my superior that I’m gonna take MC.

Mum then knocked my door as at that time I would have usually gone downstairs to get ready to leave home for work. Told her my left shoulder damn painful and immediately she asked me to wash up and she accompany me to visit the Chinese doc.

Visited the doc and yes…I kena wallop kau kau, really damn kau. Check out the picture after the intensive wallop from the Chinese doc.

As you can see from the pix above, my right shoulder is not as serious as my left shoulder; it is always my left shoulder where I normally feel the stiffness and soreness whenever I got too stressed up. Even masseurs would normally comment that my left shoulder is very stiff.

So after the wallop session, I feel damn good man. But during the session, I was about to cry out loud! The pain is damn unbearable k! BUT... but... better than the feeling that I was getting when I first woke up in the morning, scared the shit outta me when my left arm was numb, I thought I was gonna get stroke anytime soon!

Anyway, mum was surprised that I can take the pain and I did not shout at all. Yeah tell me about it I can’t believe it that I can take the pain too. I guess my fear of getting stroke at such young age could have taken over any other fear.

I need to see the doc again as follow up to get rid of the iron shoulder, I don’t wanna experience any horrific moments in the morning anymore.

I just got back from a marvelous lunch with my sweetie Rach Kow and we were chatting about friendship. She was sharing with me her stories of her friendship episode while studying in Melbourne on how this ‘toxic’ friend spreading toxin in her life not once but TWICE. Rach is simply a sweet darling to have forgiven her for once and that allows the ‘toxic’ friend for second attempt in ruining her life and her friendship with other friend.

Sigh sigh…tsk tsk. Rach also asked me to be aware of such ‘toxic’ friends and not be burnt by them.

I suppose it is better to walk away once the toxic friend spills in…

Anyway, back to office and was surfing internet while reading some news and stumble upon some meaningful quotes.

Hola, a renewed Rachie returns!

As you can see, I’ve left my blog unattended since 12th June. Yeah my bad… these past 3 weeks have been really shitty for me. It’s like I’ve been through a rollercoaster maneuver which involves work and personal life that brought me nothing except disappointment but on the brighter side, I realized I have him and my dearly true friends and of course not to forget my family who stood by my side as always.

Have not been myself lately or I would say I’ve changed a bit…I have become melodramatic and impatient over little things. So I decided to take a short break from the blogging sphere and the outside world to reclaim my thoughts and myself. I’ve been only spending time with him and my family during this period. Thanks to my dearly true friends who have been checking on me and making sure I am fine. Truly appreciate your care and concern and I am really touched. I’m pretty sure you know who you are, I needn’t mention your name ya *wink*

I didn’t share much with my mum as I didn’t want her to worry too much, as a result I’ve been keeping everything to myself and I ended up venting some of my anger on him without me realizing it. The anger is all me, I have been blaming myself for everything and asking if I’ve done enough to keep up with everything.

To him who has been there every minute to cheer me up with his silly jokes, comical facial expressions, unlimited TLC and last but not least his patience towards my unexpected anger for no reason. I know it’s not easy to take all the shit for no reason. I promise I will not ponder over the spilt milk anymore as it’s all over now.

I am back now to the blogging sphere and will continue with my blog. Work still a bit of a headache with all the uncertainties of decisions which caused me and other working partners up and down with all the changes and doubts but I am better in managing it now after the short little breakie.

I shall be back with more interesting post of events + interesting pix if only I managed to compile from here and there ;)

As you can see the title above, this post is specially dedicated to Racheal Kow which also happens to be the owner of an online blog shop of FunkShop55.

She is the sweetest person I ever met, never in my life I regret for knowing her although in the initial stage we didn’t like each other due to our similarity of the ‘lan si’ face :p

I suppose this is what the Chinese saying; “Pat Tar Pat Seong Sek” means something like if you never confront the person, you will never know that person...

There was this day last week, we chat over msn in the morning and during lunch time she excused herself. Approximately about 2pm she rang me, I was then also hunting for her thought of chatting with her and wondering what kinda lunch this girl having how come still not back yet.

She rang me and said, ‘Sweetie, are you in the office now?’

I say, ‘Yes darling’

She says, ‘Can you pls come down now to lobby sweetie?’

Immediately I adjourned to the lift and went to the lobby, it was raining then. After waited for few minutes she finally reached with her white colour Caldina. She passed me this baby sky blue colour pack. The colour looks so familiar that I kinda can guess something from Delicious?

Bingo! I was right! I asked her what’s that darling? She said its dessert.

Awwww…immediately my heart melted on the spot while standing under the rain, she gotta like wake me up a bit and ask me to run in as I just fully recovered from sick only so she didn’t want me to get sick again.

Heineken UCL: A Night in Rome at Sincero Riverbank, Ipoh.

Yeah so the Ipoh party was held on the 11th of April, Saturday. It was at the Sunway Lagoon City, Tambun about half of size of our KL Sunway Lagoon. The set up was awesome with the Rome back drop to create the feeling as if you’re in Rome and not to miss the DJ console on the stage awesomeness! Despite the rollercoaster maneuver of the rainy weather, the party still was going on great although some of the programs have to differ. Some Ipoh people actually referred the party as ‘rave party’ as they have never seen an outdoor party like this before.

Heineken UCL: A Night in Rome at De Bali, JB.

Next on the 18th April destination is JB. I love the place as the place was decorated in a very Balinese feel hence the name of De Bali I suppose. The bar located near to the seaside facing directly to Singapore. You wouldn’t believe the response that we’ve received from the party goers down there. It was unbelievable!

Heineken UCL: A Night in Rome at Mercedes Benz Showroom @ Menara Hup Seng, KL.

It was on the 25th April, Sat the week after the JB event. This is hell a new experienced for KL party goers as no one ever done any party like this at a car showroom. By 9pm, the place was full house and crowded.

We had our usual Fashion Show just as Ipoh and JB, followed by the contest which people stand a chance to win an all-paid expense trip to experience the UEFA Champions League Final in Rome.

As soon as the contest ended, Joey G started spun and we’ve Bumblebeez from Australia too over from the DJ consle to hype out the crowd and lastly LapSap spun all the way till the party ends. Just in case, you ain’t sure who is this Bumblebeez; they are bro and sis team up. The sis would rap and sang on the spot while the bro would be spinning on the console.

As much as I was busy running around, I still find some time to cam-whore with my babes and some other bloggers friends.

Heineken UCL: A Night in Rome at Al-Fresco, Miri

This is our last pit stop which held on the 2nd May, Sat. This time round there is no huge set up due to the limitation of space at the outlet but however the feedback that we received from the party was absolutely amazing and unbelievable. We didn’t take much pix this time as everyone was tired of all the travelling every weekend.

I managed to steal this pix from my colleague. Well, in Ipoh people there mistaken me as Chui Leng aka Angel Wong. I’ve no freaking idea how can people mistaken me as her.

Let’s do some comparison:

Angel – petite size body frame vs Rachie – middle size body frame
Angel – smaller eyes vs Rachie – slightly bigger eyes
Angel – height about 5 feet vs Rachie – height 5 feet 4.5

So yeah other than our hair cut was about the same and my hair colour is actually lighter than hers, how can people not able to differentiate between me and her??!!

Geee! I’ve been approached few times calling me Angela or Chui Leng, even when we went for supper there is this uncle came over to me and said I love you! I was like WTF???

As you can see from the title, I am back! I am all fine now, fully recovered and rejuvenated as well. I was down for a week with 3 days of bed-ridden. It was pitiful and dreadful moment for me. Never been so sick like this before.

I’ve seen 3 different doctors as fever never goes off. Fever strikes me 3 times! How I wish if lottery can strikes me just like how my fever strikes me. How lucky heh!

Was on 2 days MC on the 19th and 20th May (Tues and Wed), went back to work on Thursday and on Thursday midnight 3am, fever hit me again. This time round high fever with 39 degrees with enormous headache and I can feel that my head gonna blow anytime soon. I hung on till 7am I couldn’t take it anymore told my mum to send me to hospital but before that I actually disturb our HR girl to check with her the procedure to use company’s hospitalization benefits.

So yeah I've no choice, I slept in the living room till 9am as it was too early and most of the clinics not open yet. I need a referral letter from our office panel doctor before I could proceed to admit to hospital.

In the end mum recall a very good and attentive doctor that she brought my younger bro there before for couple of times. So hence she decided to bring me there give it a last shot otherwise my last resort would be hospital.

Again I was told second time that my immune system superb weak hence my body can’t seems to fight back the virus that has been attacking me. I need A LOT of rest and no more touching my work before I recover. So yeah and I took another day off on Fri. After taking twice of the strong medication I was totally ok except for the cough and fever and body weak.

I went back to work on Sat and Sun, how sad right! I’ve no choice!!! During my absent everything was left there unattended and no one could really do much about it. Client waiting for my plan and yeah so I work till 12am (yes 12am midnight) on Sat. Mum and few friends been calling me asking me to go home and rest. I was then still very weak.

I took 2 days annual leave off last week Thurs and Fri to settle my pending errands which I’ve left it for freaking long. Will blog about it soon. I had the most relaxing off day ever although I was still on the phone working and such but I didn’t touch my company’s laptop at all, didn’t check emails otherwise I would most likely be working on Sat and Sun again.

Special thanks to my friend for divert my attention from work and went around hunting, scouting and checking my current car’s market value. I was pampered with foot reflexology and good food as well – my taste bud were all gone missing in the forest wondering around but I still enjoy the process of hunting for nice food :)

I actually went to see Chinese doc on Thursday and again I was told my immune system very weak. I overworked my body with the accumulation of stress and lack of sleep. The doc was really funny, he asked me to change job field so I don’t have to work so hard. I’ve been getting headache the urge of vomiting since I recovered from the continuous fever. But after seen the Chinese doc which he helped me to released some blood from my fingers, ears and eyebrows and plus minimal massage as I was having period that day I felt so much fresh and better. My blood apparently blocked up a bit and very thick which is no good. I need to go back there again for a better massage to ease the stiffness on my shoulder. I’ve this bulge on my left shoulder superb stiff which I need to get rid of it otherwise I will always be getting headache from time to time.

I told myself after down for a week and bed ridden for 3 days, eating mee suah or porridge for a week and lost my taste bud; I’m gonna take my work easy and steady. Will try as possible not to work late and take good care of my health. This is serious I am freaking sick for whole week. Working in my current company for 4 years now, I HARDLY take MC even if I do it would be minimal of half day MC or 1 day MC. Never up to 3 full days MCs. Thank god I've the best mum ever, she took good care of me, boil me different type of herbal tea (leong sui) and use hard boil eggs to rub my body to ease the heatiness in my body otherwise I don't think I can recover so fast.

More to update after this…I’ve lotsa post pending due to my sickness :)

Sorry peeps, I won’t be updating my blog till I am getting better. I am down again with the usual ‘Happy Package’

Was down since Monday with flu and followed by minor body aching. Next day I woke up around 3am as I couldn’t sleep anymore, the body aching spread and the pain was unbearable, check on thermometer; it was 38.9 degree.

I hung on till 8am, wash up myself and went to look for my mum and shit she wasn’t around. I have to force myself to be strong and drove myself to the nearest panel doctor at Desa Park City. Reached there, shrugs! Clinic only opens at 9.30am.

Went back to my car and wait, I was about to cry. The pain on my body really excruciating, first time I feel such pain. That point of time I thought I got infected with swine flu as the symptoms quite similar with my condition now.

Finally get to see doc, and cheh! Just throat infection and hence all the fever and body aching. I almost can’t drive myself back home as I was about to faint. Got back home another drama story. Right after I open the auto gate and I was ready to reverse my car in, Baby Belle ran out. Mum can’t run and obviously I’ve to get her. I only can walk and she ran and ran and ran. Till reached the last end-log house. She finally stop a bit to pee and I squat down to ask her come over, thank god she is very sticky towards me. Hug her so that she won’t be able to run. She is like only 2 to 3 kgs and my hand actually tired after awhile hugging her. This is how weak I am.

Took first time medication and I straight went to sleep. I feel so much better as body aching gone and fever gone except for flu and cough. Till at night 6pm...I feel the pain on my body is back and I went to check fever came back too. Went up to 39 degrees, so I doubled up the ponstan that doc gave me.

I suspect this panel doctor damn freaking lousy. Although he said I’ve throat infection why didn’t he gave me antibiotics? He only gave me flu medicine – day and night, cough syrup, vitamin C and ponstan. Ponstan is something that I can get it from the pharmacy shelf. Isn’t it doctor supposed to give patience a better medicine?

I woke up like 5am today with the pain on by body and I can feel the heat. Again fever went up to 39 degrees. I went back to sleep till now 8.20am. Mum gonna bring me to see another doctor. Better doc and will check more thorough on me.

I really hope it’s not swine flu and I suspect viral fever or either way the lousy wtf doctor didn’t prescribe me the correct medicine. It's been awhile since I last get so sick till bed ridden for 2 days. I guess my body can't take anymore over the accumulation of stress and the lack of sleep.

I just thought you might be interested in having a look at the link I sent you. As I heard you are a pet lover and nevertheless you always find a way into people’s heart so maybe we can try helping out in some ways? I am just trying every way I can to let people know about this issue.

I mean some humans are just sooooo selfish about themselves that they have forgotten other living creatures with feelings around us. Why punish all these innocent dogs when they have not done anything wrong?

I know helping out the environment and also orphanage is great, but as the 400 dogs were to die on that island, it would be a pollution to the earth too. And think of it! Without love, the dogs are orphanage too. They are all inter-link to US and they really need our (humans) help.

Furthermore, this will affect how other countries look at us being uneducated and how selfish our country is. By the way, it already DID. Cause it affected the tourism and people visiting out country. Thank you for your time. If there is nothing we can do, at least pray for those helpless dogs.

Sorry peeps I've been extremely tight up at work. I know I've been a bad girl for not updating my blog till ‘StrippedSteph’ had to leave a message asking me to update and don’t be a lazy bum on my CBox. Sweetie, you know I’ve been working late…I wish I could update my blog more consistent.

Anyway, last week Saturday I visited my girlfriend Racheal Kow as she was operating her little stall “FunkShop55” at Pick n Grab 4 @Hartamas Square. Yeah I was asking her if she wants to see my Baby Bell. She was like really sweetie? And I said yeah honey, I’ll shower her and make sure she smell really good before I come over to show you ya.

So I brought Baby Bell there, all the attraction on her is like wow! No one checking on the ‘hot owner’ me wei :p hahahahha…am just joking.

So yeah I was walking and my head turn left and right hunting for Racheal’s stall and she was right in front of me. The first thing she did when she saw me was hugged my Baby Bell and not me! Wtf wtf!

But then again my Baby Bell so adorable…I shall let her take away my limelight for the day :p We snapped lotsa picture with Baby Bell and there is another stall the owner brought along her Silk Terrier – male and female. So we put together the 3 dogs to play.

The Lovely Dogs That Crossed by My Life...

I've no idea what triggers me to became a dog lover now as I’ve never been one since I was young and I was so afraid of dogs. I still remembered when I was like 13 years old if my memory didn’t fail me…me and my family went over to relative’s place at Kuala Pilah and stayed overnight for a wedding ceremony.

The relative house has got a huge big dog; don’t ask me what dog is that as I’ve no freaking idea since I wasn’t into dog yet that time. Both my brothers was outside the car porch playing (no idea what they were playing with) so curios me, I went outside to check them out with the intention to join them. To my surprised the moment I step out there is this huge dog staring at me barking like once, I was then so damn scared I ran into the house with the sandal still on and the dog was practically chasing behind my butt!! It was so damn close like 1cm away. Can you imagine that moment how freaked out I was. So anyway, after that incident I swear to myself that I will never like dog or even touch them…but miracle happened somehow.

My first dog – Lucky the brown stray dog (no pix unfortunately)

My mum picked up a puppy brown colour stray dog from the morning wet market. It’s a she and we named her as Lucky as she is lucky to have us coz her other siblings either died due to hunger or got hit by car. So only left her and 2 more still alive if I’m not mistaken.

That was my very first encountered of getting close with a innocent and yet super cute puppy which I can resist and started to touch and play with her. After about 6 months down the road, she grew bigger and really huge, her size almost similar to a Rottweiler’s. Mummy and daddy couldn’t handle her anymore especially my dad since he can’t use much energy due to his health issue.

So normally it would be mummy’s task to bring her out for wee wee and poo poo in the morning. There was once she saw a male dog and got ‘sexited’ (I supposed) and gone mad. She kept on chasing the male dog while still on the leash with my mum holding on her. Mum was struggling with her and suddenly Lucky decided to gone all wild and pulled my mum along till she fell down. Both her knees were hurt with bruises and blue black. Since then for mummy’s safety we decided to give her out to mum’s friend whom likes her so much to own her. So my very first dog that took away my fear towards dog gone just like that.

My second dog – Oscar the Jack Russell Terriers

Second dog came by, a JR Terriers family whereby my elder bro got from a pet shop. Jack Russell Terriers is a rare dog and not much people would take it as JR is famous for their superb hyper nature. It’s not easy to handle them but they are really smart as they are one of the hunter dogs and they loves daily outdoor activity hence this explain the hyper-ness.

My family loves him so much that he is almost the king at home. We put him indoor due to his size and we definitely don’t wanna lose him as we can anticipate a cute dog like him would attract people to commit crime by stealing him away.

We named him as Oscar and he has got a lot of nicknames up till now. I would call him Oscar San (Japanese version), Oscar Boy, Boy Boy, Baby Boy and Hunchy Bunchy. Hehehe…tell me about it I know too much of nickname huh. He remembers all of it somehow, this is why I said he is smart (like the owner which is me!) :p

We sent him for training and due to my bro job schedule back then required him to work almost every weekend so it became my duty to go through the training with Oscar.

Even before we sent him for training he is well trained at home – toilet trained and mannerism as in no licking (we didn’t like it so we never allow him to lick us).

My third dog – Baby Bell the Min Pin

We got this dog from my cousin bro’s. They adopted her from SPCA and left her outside as his children can’t stay in contact with dogs too near due to their asthmatic issue. Bell the Min Pin made a lot of noise till the neighbors’ started to complain hence my cousin bro had no choice but to give her away and thought we would be the best person take over as we loves dog dearly.

Mum didn’t want another dog as handling Oscar is already quite hectic for her. So we decided to pass her to my grandma back in Ipoh. We had Baby Bell with us for like about a month before we send her off to grandma. She is as naughty as well and not easy to tame her as compared to Oscar.

My forth dog – Lucky the brown stray dog (yes again)

Yeah as per my title, again mummy picked up another stray dog from the street. She is so damn adorable that mum couldn’t resist but to pick her up. We love her dearly and again we named her as Lucky as she is lucky to have us as her owner. Her other siblings who are not so lucky mostly died as got hit by cars. Only one of them survived which is mixture of black and white colour whereby my other neighbor took him. So he is still lucky but he’s limping behind his leg due to car ran over his back leg so this make up he is rather less lucky than our Lucky at home.

After having her with us for about 2 months, mum decided to let her go when I was away for company trip. Mum had no choice but to let her go due to some disease that she contracted while she was having her stray dog life outside before we met her. To our surprised we brought her to the vet for a thorough check as we didn’t want her to bring back any sickness to Oscar. Somehow the skin disease that attacking her can’t be detected as it hit her slowly day by day as she grew. She started to bald slowly and she looks really horrible before the day I left home for my 5 days holiday.

I know this might sound cruel but mum didn’t want anything happen to Oscar so mum put her outside at the car porch and never allow Oscar to stay close with her at all. Mum was contemplating to let her go but after my aunt’s advice she decided to listen and gave up on her. Mum send her to the Old Town’s wet market as she won’t die of hunger at least. Mum’s eyes were teary when she left her there according to my aunt. As mum drove away from the market aunt and mum saw from the rear mirror that Lucky was chasing our car.

So sad…when I came back first thing I hunt for definitely my Baby Oscar and then Lucky but she’s already gone. I went back to the wet market to look for her but no I can’t find her anymore….

My fifth dog – Hugo the Black Mix Labrador

We (as in me and my ex) adopted Hugo from SPCA, Ampang. He is coated in black fur hence we named him as Hugo as I felt that Hugo suits him very well due to his black fur which to me seems to be very ‘man.’ Hugo is a mix labrador, I supposed mix with stray dog. He has the features and the height of a genuine lab but his size he inherited from the stray dog gene. He can really eat damn a lot and we fed him like 3 to 4 meals a day just to make him fat but he won’t grow fat as it’s in his gene.

After me and my ex broke up, Hugo follow his daddy. Lately only Hugo came by my place as my ex have to travel for work for like about 2 weeks and his normal caretaker when he’s away for work not around hence he has got no choice but to send Hugo over my place with my mum’s agreement.

My sixth dog – Baby Bell the Jack Russell Terrier (yeah Bell again)

Yeap! I’ve another Jack Russell! Yoohooo!!! This time round my younger got her from one of the breeder’s place. I’ve been hunting for 3 years plus a female JR to mate with Oscar as I can feel his loneliness but it wasn’t easy at all as I mentioned earlier not much people own Jack Russell.

So my family decided to buy another one instead and here we go we’ve an additional to the family now! When we got her she is just 2 months old only and she is very skinny but now she looks so much better with mummy constant care when we are all out for work and college (my younger bro).

I am officially a true dog lover now

I guessed I can answer my doubt of what triggers me to become a dog lover. The answer is dog is just simply adorable, they will always be there for you and never walk away from you.

You can whine, you can cry, you can complain and you can even throw tantrum over them.

The only know how to take it and never fight back. Everyday no matter how stressful I am at work, I am so looking forward to go back home and check on my dogs.

Hug them, kiss them, pat on their forehead and call them naughty boy and girl.

They will just look at me, their stares just simply adorable and my heart melted immediately. Looking at my Baby Oscar of 4 years old now, I think about my beloved dad as daddy love him so much that Oscar would always be my dad’s companion when he needed a smoke outside the car porch while flipping the newspapers.

Krispy Kreme Media Launch @Berjaya Times Square

I was invited to the Krispy Kreme Media Launch on the 24th Apr @Berjaya Times Square by Josh Lim. A special thanks to him otherwise I would not be able to meet up with the Blogger United members.

I was caught up at work hence was late to the event but nonetheless I have so much fun meeting up, chit-chatting and cam-whoring the Blogger United’s members.

By the time I reach, the media launch was over and everyone was queuing up to try the ‘World Famous Melt in your mouth Doughnuts.’ Each of us get to choose 2 types of doughnuts from all the varieties and on top of that the staff giving out each of us 1 original glazed doughnut on hand while you Q-ing up waiting for your turn.

If you ask me how did it taste...well, it's awesome! A little on the high side amount of sugar for some people but it's not like you always eat it right? Oh the dough, it's damn good when still hot. So different from Big Apple. Well, I've not try JCO doughnuts yet so I can't tell if this is better than JCO

A Night with Micky Tan @Fash Fab April Edition

This post is specially ‘For ladies who love drapes and ethnic prints’ from Micky Tan.

Micky Tan offers ladies a range of casual wear, cocktails dresses and gowns that are fluid and fun. Micky Tan loves to play around with variations of drapes and prints. She would sometime create dresses by accident or I would say rush of instinct that gives her the inspiration to come up a wonderful design. Micky Tan enjoy and loving what she is doing and she decides to create dresses that are commercially viable.

This mini collection has been her most interesting project so far by incorporating both drapes and prints which are her favourites elements. Micky decided to be bold once and for all and make these dresses in strong colours. Inspired by the woman who is trapped in a concrete jungle but wants to let loose, these dresses are a way of saying ‘I wanna break free.’ Shaded chiffon and satins are drapes on mannequin to achieve figures enhancing silhouette. Panels of 100% pure silk batik from Bali and feather trimmings are then incorporated into these dresses to give it character. Keeping that in mind that dresses should be fun, Micky decides to keep the length short.

Micky currently owns a shares production studio with her friends with hopes of expanding. Apart from creating mini collections out of passion, she also does production for independent labels and boutiques. Micky hopes that in the near future, she will be able to create more mini collection to cater to the different demands of this ever evolving fashion market.

On the 2nd April 2009 has marked down the showcase of Micky Tan’s Cocktail ’09 collection of dresses and tops at FashFab #11 in Twenty One Kicthen + Bar.

As a favor to my childhood friend whom I’ve known since I was 12 years old, I agreed to be one of her models and I’ve specially invited Kim Ong to be one of the models as well.

I wore the very first twirl tube dress. Absolutely cool dress as there is a technique to enhance my figure by twisting the dress to different direction for the top and the bottom part.

For the top part – twirl the dress to the right side. For the bottom part – twirl the dress to the left side.

A Little Nightout @Aristo, Zouk with Clive

Thanks to Clive Magazine for organizing a ladies night at Aristo every Thursday. Just incase you’re not sure where is Aristo, it is locared the bar right above Terrace Bar at Zouk.

According to Kim, there will be one lady invited every week to host the event as the bar-tender. Last week was Kim’s turn to host the night.

So I was invited – Josiah Ng; Kim's fiancee was there too. I don't normally hang out on weekday but since it was Kim hosting the night hence I turn up and the best part is free flow for ladies but then again I didn't drink much as I've to drive my ass home later on. Never like the after alcohol effect while driving.

Andy Kho who is Kim’s wedding photographer turned up as well and we (girls – Kim, myself and Michelle) camwhore all the way.

An Apple A Day Keeps the Doctor Away Charity Day

February 26th, Thursday has marked down as “The Power of One" day. The entire office staffs are compulsory to participate on this remarkable day.

We’re being split into 2 groups – first group to visit listed 6 orphanage homes to refurbish and clean up their place and second group which is the group I belongs to do fund raising for the orphanage homes.

Princess Aud and myself under the same group but however we were split into 3 small groups to go around and raise funds. I was initially appointed as the leader but however due to my tight schedule with back to back and long hours meeting hence I couldn’t commit on that role.

At first our team plan to sell varieties cut fruits selling at RM3 per packet but however after few discussion and thinking we all concluded that it would be too troublesome for us to cut the fruits and carrying it around to sell hence we decided to sell Apple instead. After all 'An Apple A Day Keeps the Doctor Away.'

So we’ve order total of 15 boxes of Organic Fuji Apples which cost us RM945. Under my small team I’ve decided to visit my old friends working partner – some big outdoor media owner and my very own client as well.

After the exercise of fund raising for one day, few days later which is on the Friday each of the team have to do up a presentation to share with everyone of what they have done on this remarkable ‘Power of One Day’

I was give the task to do up the presentation and also the board of our team. By the way our team was named as Fruit Loops.

Beautiful Bali – Day 1

Thousand apologies to my dear reader, I've been extremely tight up at work and plus other stuff to busy with. I am so gonna put up all in my blog. Anyway, I've promised to write about my Bali trip, so here you go...

This is my second trip to Bali and this time round I get to go to places which I didn’t managed to cover last year. Absolutely a great trip except for some minor hiccups as during the trip due to Mother Nature we didn’t get to experienced what we expected for.

Just the mere word of ‘Bali’ is enough to conjure up images of peaceful white sandy beaches, clear blue waters, age-old temples, rustic settings and of course not to miss shopping, indulge in affordable massages and their local hawker foods. It has never come into my mind of fear of bombing back in 12th Oct 2002. Generally human beings are a fearful lot, but I’m glad that we did not succumb to our fears otherwise I won’t be able to share my wonderful experienced in Bali for now.

Upon arrival at Denpasar Airport after a flith of approx. 2 hours and 40 minutes, off we go to our Hotel – Casa Padma Suite located at Jalan Padma Legian Kuta.

Contemporary and warm are the word to describe Casa Padma, also it was sitting at the heart of Legian which is bout 10-15mins walk to Kuta and about 25mins drive from the airport

I specially love the U-Shaped swimming pool which in-cooperating a swim-up bar surrounds the hotel’s Restaurant and Lobby

Without wasting time, we leave our luggage and freshen up ourselves and we head out to Kuta Beach which was a mere 5 to 10 mins walk from out hotel. On the beach, there were many local going about their businesses from old wrinkled women trying to sell anything from beads to massages and hair braiding services to men doing tattoos (semi-permanent)

After the beach, we walk along Kuta Street and started out shopping spree. Polo Ralph Lauren is one of the highlight of the trip. We bought a lot as the price was damn cheap that we can’t resist but kept on buying. Becareful as there are two types of Polo boutique – genuine and imitation. You could easily tell from the shop’s banner. Reason why the Polo there in Bali is cheap is because Bali has a license to sell Ralph Lauren.

Dinner time, we head off to one of the restaurant along Kuta. The restaurant came with live band, in fact most of the restaurant or drinking belt in Bali came with live band.

The food wasn't that great though, but the price was unbelievably cheap. Total bill came up only cost Rupiah120,000 which is RM37.68 (with the latest currency of 1 IDR = 0.0003 MYR)

After dinner, we adjourned to our hotel to freshen up and head out again to check out the night life there. We noticed plenty of discos and few pubs here and there, the similarity is that all of with came with a live band to attract drinkers.

Jessica Cox a 25 years old girl born without arms stands inside an aircraft. The girl from Tuscan, Arizona got the Sport Pilot certificate lately and became the first pilot licensed to fly using only her feet

Although Jessica was born without arms that have not stop her from doing anything except one thing which is using the word “can’t”

Her latest flight into the seemingly impossible is becoming the first pilot licensed to fly using only her feet

With one foot manning the controls and the other delicately guiding the steering column, Cox, 25 soared to achieve a Sport Pilot certificate. Her certificate qualifies her to fly a light-sport aircraft to altitudes of 10,000 feet

“She’s a good pilot. She’s rock solid,” said Parrish Traweek, 42, the flying instructor at San Manuel’s Ray Blair Airport.

Parrish Traweek runs PC Aircraft Maintenance and Flight Services and has trained many pilots, some of whom didn’t come close to Cox’s abilities.

“When she came up here driving a car,” Traweek recalled, “I knew she’d have no problem flying a plane”

An Incredible Love Story

Was going thru my hotmail inbox and I found this email which I’ve been keeping it in my inbox since 3rd Sept 2008.

Hence would love to share this meaningful touching incredible love story origin from China which touched the world’s heart. This is a story of a man and an older woman who ran off to live and love each other in peace for over half a century.

The 70-years old Chinese man who hand-carved over 6,000 stairs up a mountain for his 80-years old wife has passed away in the cave which has been the couple’s home for the last 50 years.

Over 50 years ago, Liu Guojiang a 19 years old boy, fell in love with a 29 years old widowed mother named Xu Chaoqin…

In a twist worthy of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, friends and relatives criticized the relationship because of the age difference and the fact that Xu already had children.

At that time, it was totally unacceptable and immoral for a young man to love an older woman. To avoid the market gossip and the scorn of their communities, the couple decided to elope and lived in a cave in Jiangjin County in Southern ChongQing Municipality.

Life was harsh in the beginning as they had nothing; no electricity or even food. They had to eat grass and roots they found in the mountain. Liu made kerosene lamp that they used to light up their lives.

Xu felt that she had tied Liu down and repeatedly asked him, ‘Are you regretful?’
Liu always replied, ‘As long as we are industrious, life will improve.’

In the second year of living in the mountain, Liu begin and continued for over 50 years to hand-carve the steps so that his wife could get down the mountain easily.

Half a century laser in 2001, a group of adventures were exploring the forest and were surprised to find the elderly couple and the over 6,000 hand-carved steps.

One of their seven children said, ‘My parents loved each other so much, they have lived in seclusion for over 50 years and never been apart a single day. My dad carved these steps over the years for my mum’s convenience, although she doesn’t go down the mountain that much.’

The couple had lived in peace for over 50 years until one fine day; Liu who is now 72 years old returned from his daily farm work and collapsed. Xu sat and prayed as he passed away in her arms. So in love with Xu, was Liu that no one was able to release the grip he had on his wife’s hand even after he had passed away.

‘You promised me you’ll take care of me, you’ll always be with me until the day I died, now you left before me, how am I going to live without you?’

Xu spent days softly repeating this sentence and touching her husband’s black coffin with tears rolling down her cheeks.

In 2006, their story became one of the top 10 love stories from China by the Chinese Woman Weekly. The local government has decided to preserve the love ladder and the place they lived as a museum so that the love story can live forever.

To My Beloved Hero Daddy

This is a very long post, probably the longest post in my blog and this is specially dedicated for my belove dad who passed away on 1st March 2007.

In a blink of an eye, it’s been 2 years and 9 days have whizzed by since the day my dad passed away. This is our second year celebrating Chinese New Year without him with us.

It hurts to flash back food that he love the most during this festive season, his fussy instructions and his kiddy side by asking my bros to go around with him hunting for fire crackers.

I thought about him a lot, wondering where is he now, what is he doing, what is he experiencing, etc. Also the question of if he’s around the house with us since we shifted to new house, I can answer this. Yes he is. I just dreamt about him few days back.

Thought when he’s around I’ve never really speak much to him but he was a respectable man and inspirational as well. He is the man to run around and check my car, he is also my ATM machine as he always sponsor to pay for my car expenses (tyres, major service and etc). He was such a versatile man; he can fix anything from electronic to car to hair clips to anything. Nothing is impossible for him.

I still remember when I was in college during my final year for my degree; I’ve this very important assignment to complete. My assignment topic was about operating a business (a real business). With the help of my then ex and his friend who owned the restaurant, I’ve been getting sources till one day his friend suddenly decided not to reveal anything further to me on the business and ask me to stop doing about his restaurant.

The feeling then was like the whole world turns its back to me; I don’t know what to do besides crying and crying and cry more. Went to my dad and told him about the situation as I could juz flung my degree due to this assignment no matter how good I did in my other papers. He supported me all the way, comforting me and ask me to continue with it don’t stop and juz try my best to put things up as possible. In the end I listen to him and my managed to get my degree in joy but the result wasn’t as what I expected. I even thought of skipping my convocation day as I feel ashamed with my overall result.

He tap on shoulder and my head and told me, its ok girl. You’re my girl, my daughter whatever you do I will always be there for you. As your daddy I am so proud of you that you’re a BA Hon. Degree holder now. Nothing can replace the feelings deep inside me now, how could you not let me attend your convocation? You’re my only daughter in this life. Don’t be so cruel to daddy. I was so touched and I shed tears.

Pix missing my younger bro

I still remember 1 day before he passed away, he was busy calling his close friends and relatives to come over our place for open house on the 14th of Chinese New Year, but sadly the open house party was called off as he couldn’t make it. He decided to walk away from us forever. We had to make all the phone calls to his friends and relatives and inform them that the party called off as my dad juz passed away. So ironic, from a happy red celebration party turns to be a sad black, white and blue ceremony.

All of us in shock when out of sudden he juz left us without any warning or signal. They day before he passed away, he complained that his abdomen was not feeling good and he refused to eat. I came back from gym and I insisted to make him milo and ask him no matter what you must finish this ok. The next morning, mum and dad went to the hospital for his check up and doctor realized something is terribly wrong with him and ask him to admit to hospital immediately.

Mum called all of us informing us he should be fine but after about an hour later she called and urge us to go to the hospital immediately as he can’t talk and can’t breathe. As soon as I reached he had hard time to talk. I’ve been holding his hand helping him to sit up and trying to catch what he wants to tell me. At such ill moment whereby he can’t breathe he still asks me to call his personal dialysis doctor and inform him that he couldn’t pick up the nurse tomorrow before his dialysis. I was rather shocked and touched. At this moment, he knew he had difficulties in breathing he still think care about others people. Such a kind hearted dad I’ve.

Right after the phone call, doctor came to us and said they have to put him in sleep and he need to breath with the support of machine. That was then I got so devastated. He still held my hand, his hand so cold and so soft. I had to tell him its ok daddy, they juz gonna help you to breathe smoother with the machine. We see u later alright?

And he was put into sleep and with the machine beeping; ‘tut, tut, tut, tut’; exactly the same scene from all those TV drama. Less than an hour he was put into sleep, he had difficulties again. All the doc and nurse went in to aid him. We were outside not knowing what to do, we started to shed tears but we’ve to hide it from my mum. In about 15mins time, docs came out and ask us to prepare.

Immediately 3 of us, my 2 bros and myself ran into the room and my mum still walk calmly. His eyes were closed with cotton on top of it. The machine starting to beep slower and slower; ‘tut *paused* tut *paused* tut’.

I asked my bro how come the machine beep so slow, what happened how come. And we all started to shout and talk to him, come back daddy. We’re all here for you. We still have open house party tonight, you’ve called everyone to come. Grandma on the way now, daddy don’t sleep, wake up, wake up! Oscar at home waiting for you, wake up…and suddenly the beep beep noise gone forever with one tone; ‘tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt’

Yeah, that’s how he left us, in juz one day time less than 3 hours…

We were all still in shocked for about a year. I always dreamt about him and I could feel his presence at home (old house). At night sometimes I could hear some noise from his working desk. Coz sometimes he would do his accounting work at night or juz sat there smoke. When am around he won’t and always try to avoid me when he wants to smoke as I would scold him. He never fight back when I scold him as he knew how much I hated him smoke and my nose couldn’t take the smoke as it irritates my nose.

During the service, I actually bought him a carton his favorites of Benson & Hedges and I’ve been lighting up for him from time to time. I told my family let me do it coz it’s always me that scold him when he smoke.

You won't believe it, after all the ceremony done, I dreamt about him. He was standing at the car porch and smoke. I saw him and asked him why you are smoking? I thought you’ve quitted. He answered me, you allowed me to smoke again don’t ya? I got so shocked. The dream was so real. It was precisely true, I allowed him to smoke again.

This is how much we missed each other, I’ve been dreaming of him every now and then. One month back before we pray him with all the burning stuff (clothes, shoes and etc) he came into my dream telling me missed ‘Teh Tarik.’ So on the day we went to pray him we’ve prepared everything. The same night I dreamt about him again, he came into my dream with new clothes, new shoes and everything new.

This is how we’ve been communicating in the different world. Only me alone been dreaming about him so much. He never enter my mum’s dream nor my younger bro. He did enter my elder bro’s dreamt the first year he passed away. In fact, I juz dreamt about him yesterday.

When he was around I’ve never misses him so much. I spent all my time at work till he complained he hardly see me. Even on weekend I would be in the office. Sometimes he thought he could catch me on public holiday but I would still be going back to the office. For the past 1.5 years I’ve been spending all my time at work. I would only go back home wee hours like the earliest is about 1am. He only managed to catch a glance of me. There was few times I work till 5am and later he got so worried. He woke up and immediately call me when he don’t see my car.

I must say it’s a blessing that he passed away without pain although he has been suffering with kidney’s failures and with his on-going dialysis 3 times a week for about 10 years. Thank god that allow him to stay so long with us, the only thing that he couldn’t let go is probably he couldn’t see my younger bro graduate and presence at my elder bro’s wedding ceremony.

I only can promised him after he passed away that I will spend less time at work and spend more time at home. That is the best that I could do, I wish I could tell him right in front of him and not with his eyes closing and motionless.

Losing my dad certainly made me realize that life is both precious and fragile. At anytime the person you care about the most might be taken away from you forever and you will not be able to do anything about it. Do not wait for time to tell the person that means to you how much you love and care for them, do not wait for it to happen, you have to do it before it’s too late.

I swear to myself that I will not take my family and loves one for granted. Every moment with them will be cherished and kept in my heart for nothing is more precious than happy moments and laughter shared together.

Shrinking Me...

It’s not like I didn’t eat or on diet
But I’ve been shrinking
I put on my jeans today and realized
I’ve lost weight AGAIN!
I can actually stuff in 1 or 2 thin material tops into my jeans
To make up the empty spaces

Damn! I guess a person mood can really affect the health
I've been eating, but gastric still attacking me
Mild attack only, lucky me
Also, my period is late like a month now
Should I consider to take anti-depression pill?

Probably I didn’t get a good sleep
Plus work stress and personal issue
Hence all add up and equal to Shrinking Rachie

I’ve stopped gym for about 2 mths now
Due to the Wisdom Tooth pain and such
And now I don’t dare to step into the gym anymore
Coz I am losing weight now

If I continue to shrink the wind can really blew me off
Or probably I would look like below

The Freaky Maid at Home

Yesterday, I received a call from my elder bro and he sounded as if something bad happened
He asked me to go back home early as he needs to discuss something
The moment I reach home, my mum sounded very panic and showed me 3 pixs
And she said Marni (our maid) got these 3 pixs

Now I know why my bro asked me to come back home early
So I asked further, apparently they have gone thru a threatening session

Last week my bro purposely put some tooth paste over his washroom wall
After few days the tooth paste stain still there
So yesterday he asked her if she wipe the washroom’s wall
She confidently replied, “Ada, Sir”
Thou after my bro question her for like 5 to 6 times
He got furious and raised his voice with his fuming face
Immediately she admitted she has never wipe the wall at all

Mum advanced to ask her if she knew there is CCTV at this house
She confidently and loudly reply my mum, “Saya tau, ada tiga”
And she pointed the 3 CCTV, in fact there is another one which she didn’t know where
Then my mum threaten her and said do you know that we’ve miniature cameras around the room upstairs even the washroom and we can see it from the laptop

At this moment her face turned pale
Mum then asked her did you take anything from our house
Stubbornly she say no
Mum then said in Cantonese to my bro, take her to the Police Station
Bro grasp his car key, and she understood the word Police

She cried and confessed everything:
1) She actually steals 3 pixs from his room, wtf!
2) Took his razor and shaved her eyebrows, wtf!
3) Took my nail lacquer and coloured her nails (understandable, she’s like only 22 years old)

She took then took out the pixs
Both my mum and bro immediately stunned...

Besides she said she has not been cleaning the house much

And she has been bully and lying to my mum
Hence all this testing thingy came about

We sent her off back to the maid agent today
Such a relief to us and we juz got back from temple
To ensure that we’re not being curse or something
Coz of all stuff in our house she never took money
But PICTURE! This is the scariest part man!
Plus to make matter worst, she had my full name and house address, wtf!
She’s from Indonesia which is also famous for black magic other than Thailand

How can we not freak out?
I didn’t sleep well last night
I was practically shaking, at first my leg then followed by hand
Then it became bad, I can feel my body shaking too
And I checked my bed sheet if she put anything under my bed sheets

Man, I can’t believe this until I experienced it myself
We’ve been told by people DO NOT treat your MAID too good
But NEVER TORTURE THEM

We’ve been treating her DAMN good
Whatever we eat she gets to eat
We brought her out on X’Mas to 1 Utama to check on decoration coz she’s a Christian
And took some pix for her to send back home
Besides we bought her X’Mas present and I took the trouble to wrap it nicely for her
How the heck you can ever imagine she did such thing to you and your family?

Stuff that she wrote, very hard to understand her language

My luck is pretty bad this year. Let’s recap a bit of my luck…

First day of CNY : Food poisoning; purging both ways

Third day of CNY : Throat infection resulted fever and such

Fifteen day of CNY : Cut my middle finger of my left hand while cutting carrot

Yeah tell me about it, damn right!

As shown on my title ‘ The Cacat-ed Universal Sign’
I am typing this post without the middle finger, felt so ‘cacat’
Lotsa typo mistakes and I type real damn slow

How it happened?

I was cutting some veggies; to be specific carrot to do salad for family and to bring to work as lunchie the next day
Normally I would use small knife to do the job but this time I damn hero I took the big knife which my mum normally used to chop chicken

Cut cut cut…’shap’ I cut my own middle finger

I saw the quarter or my nails and skin from the nails on the chopping board
And I started to bleed profusely, panic me I suck my blood and wash my finger
Proceed to hunt for plaster, mum and him went out to buy extra ingredients
Bros not at home, maid upstairs cleaning up
So no one help me, no point shouting either
And I simply plaster the wound

Hero still, I continue to chop further but this time with small knife, hehehehe…
Till I done the pain started to kick it, damn delay right…wtf!

Mum and bro came back
Showed them my finger…mum help me to use cotton and put some herbal to stop the bleeding
Slap on my wound slowly, I yelled and my leg kept on kicking on the air
Bro had to hold me incase I fell on the floor (I was on dining table chair)
Tears flowing down non stop, damn painful for about 5 mins
Quickly mum wrapped it nicely and I continued instructing them what to cut next
While I juz watching them doing the work

I applied this on top of the herbs for speedy recovery

And I juz done my manicure without touching the middle finger, quite kewl heh

I just it can recover asap as I will be away to Bali this Thursday and only back next week Mon 16th Feb

Stage II: Wisdom Tooth Stitches Removal + Completion of Crowning

My follow up of my previous blog for “Stage I: Wisdom Tooth Operation + Preparation for Crowning." The process was completed on the 20th Jan, Tuesday.

I was worried before I went in for the stitches removal as I was so afraid it would be painful. I asked the dentist few times no pain right and he confidently replied me; “No, sure no pain wan.”

So the process would be stitches removal and followed by completion of my crowning

He started off with cutting the thread and pull out the threadwith some tools. I can’t open my mouth entirely as my right jaw still pain due to the nerve pulling still which leads to the dentist have to be really careful as the wound is like really deep inside.

It was damn painful when he was pulling the thread out, I was like yelling a bit with half open mouth. A tear was flowing too and I can’t even talk due to the pain...and that was then I knew he cheated me! :(

Next step is to remove my gold plated temporary crown. Man, I can still feel the pain until now over this process. The dentist have to take out the temporary gold-plated tooth by pulling it out and clearing off the cements that was sticking hard to my half tooth.

Before he starts the procedure, he asked me if I need to put jab. Painful me after the stitches removal I asked him would it be another round of painful? He said nope and I said ok fine proceed without jab then. So he continued…

The drilling part during cements removal was really killing. As he drill I can’t seems to stop yelling and reacting due to the sensitivity reaction and plus my half open mouth was really sore and pain as nerve was pulling. Damn painful wei! Till I can’t take it I asked for a break.

Stubborn cements still sticking hard to my half tooth, dentist has no choice but to give me a jab before he could continue as the pain was unbearable.

After the jab reacting, he drilled off the stubborn cements happily. I still feel a bit of pain but not as crazy as before.

Removal of cements done and he put on the custom made crown on my half tooth, the crown seems to be slighter bigger after he put it on and so he has to use the drill to drill it off a bit on the side to ensure the size is correct

Dentist then filled up inside the crown with some cements and stick it on hard on my half tooth. He uses a string and asked me to bite on it to test on the even level of the crown; he tried on both side – left and right

I can't smile properly coz half of my jaw was numb

Finally, voila! The crowning process done!

I was given MC but I’ve stuff to rush off at work. So I head back to office with empty stomach for 2 hours before I could eat as half of my mouth was numb.

Right after the jab subsides, the pain kick in…I was in tremendous pain. I can hardly talk; my right jaw pain and the nerve pulling like nuts + the wisdom tooth wound was pain too.

The pain was so severe till I decided to pop pain killers and I can’t do my work as I was then waiting for some costing before I could send email to client. So I took a nap at my desk for like about 10 to 15 mins. I looked like zombie with my pale complexion, plus hunger and the pang. Went back home, I sleep like a pig.

For the rest of the days till CNY, I am still using my left side to chew more than my right as I was kinda used to it. Only starting this week I started to chew on the right side. It still can’t take hard solid food yet but can chew moderate solid food. Improvement heh, am waiting for the day till I can eat crabs again!

I’ve another Stage III: Left side fillings job coming up which I’ve yet to make appointment. Plan to do it after CNY over. Stay tune for another round of juicy story ya :p

The Beginning of The Lunar Year

Sorry for the lack of updates
Guess what I’ve been busy with?
I was sick! Well, that is no surprised everyone will get sick too
But but I got sick on the first day of CNY and third day of CNY!

Yeah…I was sick on ‘chor yat’
Pantang betul, what a bad beginning year for me!

I was purging both ways, at first I woke up I fell like vomiting
I rush to my private washroom; I vomited the reunion’s dinner that I gulp down
At first I thought it could be the gas that caused the vomit

I continued to sleep but my body wasn’t feeling that good
My body was aching and I started to feel my stomach was roaring
Immediately I urged to washroom again
And I still thought nah, nothing is wrong

I washed up and greet my mum Happy New Year
Lazing around in the living room
My body started to ache more and more
And I can feel my body, slowly I could feel the heat
Went to my room I thought of taking a short nap

And the purging process started to continue

The worst part is my period came too; first day somemore
I tell you strike lottery also won’t be so ‘chun’

So can you imagine diarrhoe + 1st day period + vomitting

Told my mum, immediately she passed me some medicine
2 tablets of panadol to stop the fever, 4 tablets of charcoal pills
And my first meal on first day CNY, plain porridge

He came to visit pass my mum some CNY stuff
And rush to my room took care of me
The ‘wai sek’ me still exist thou am sick
I was still requesting how I want him to serve my plain porridge
Was asking for my porridge with Bovril

Heh, I got spoon-fed
He ensure me drink lots of water, passing me meds
And tucking me to sleep
It was very warm and I love every moment of being pampered

I was supposed to visit my relatives for dinner and after that his house
It’s a year in year out thing to go over my aunt’s place for dinner on chor yat
His parents was expecting me
When he got home, they were surprised to see only him alone

On ‘chor yee’, I was totally fine
No more purging, no more body aching
I went out...

But on ‘chor sam’ damn! Sial betul!
I was down again and even worst this time
My whole body aching max!
It’s like not my body anymore, all the joints aching to the max
And I was shivering
I thought I might have got infected with either Dengue or Chikungi

Mum quickly sent me to see doc after she done with cooking lunch
Drove all the way to Desa Park City as the rest of the clinic around my area closed
Doc said its infection, throat infection
My throat was very red and the infection comes and goes
Hence the fever and cold comes and goes
She prescribes me paracetamols, antibiotics, body aching and throat infections pills

Again my meal of the day plain porridge
Man, I am so sick of it
And I beg for differ
I requested my mum to steam me some bun, plain buns
Again I got spoon-fed
Asked him to mix the olive oil with vinegar and dip my bun on it

He was at my place whole day taking care of me
After all the medicine I was totally blank
Dozed off like a baby in the living room
I can still hear the movie that was playing on the DVD
And not to miss my mum’s voice

The next day fourth day of CNY
Supposed to be on leave but I went back to office to rush some stuff
Phew! The sickness totally gone…
But I was afraid it might come again
Obedient me, I continue to take the antibiotics and the throat infections pills

And now I am totally healed….

Pick & Grab II @Hartamas Square

Still remember my rival turns friend Racheal Kow that I blogged earlier; Racheal vs Racheal

Well, she had a sales roadshow as stated above, Pick & Grab Part II.

I was there around 4pm which I’ve already promised her to turn up to support her
I tah-pau her some goreng pisang and a packet of Nasi Lemak
As I can anticipate she must be hungry operating the stall from since 10am

Super dupers blur me as I just woke up from my afternoon nap
I drove all the way to Hartamas Shopping Complex
I’m not sure why, but my mind kept thinking it’s there
Reached there called her and realized, I went to the wrong place
Pai-seh me, quickly I grab my car and drove to Hartamas Square

Hot water bag that she got from her China trip, this would be good to ease the pain of my wound and to put on my stummy whenever I encounter period pain as well as good for winter country

Next the sunnies which she asked her maid slipped into my shopping bags without me realizing as I spotted it and wanted to buy but she won’t take my money so I decided not to take it

She text me about half an hour later and inform me that the sunnies love me so much and decided to follow me back home
